RTD fake "ciders" flooding the Australian market. In contrast, Custard & Co is the genuine article: real cider made in southwest Western Australia using local, hand-sorted fruit, their own strain of wild yeast and open top fermentation. I'm with you on avoiding the cheap and nasty oversweet stuff thats on the market these days.
What did you think? I tried their scrumpy which had a hell of a lot of brett taint, still i liked they are taking chances and will try others.
I do enjoy a good cider every now and then, they can be really hard to come by though. I haven't tried this cider before, sounds worth a try!
Had the scrumpy cider recently.
It is as good as any scrumpy Ive ever had and that includes Somerset, and the UK cider houses - very much a scrumpy but very smooth.
Brilliant product.
